I’m excited to share some significant updates that we believe will enhance your experience and streamline your development processes even further. Today, we are launching a new backend dashboard and our brand-new backend documentation platform!

What’s New in Your Backend Dashboard?

New Backend Dashboard – Cloud Code

Our team put in hundreds of hours redesigning our dashboard focusing not only on user interface but also determined to enhance your experience as our user.

  • Modern Design: The new design features a sleek, clean interface that reduces clutter and enhances functionality.
  • Enhanced User Experience: We’ve improved navigation and added intuitive features to make the dashboard more user-friendly.
  • Dark Theme: In alignment with our new company identity, the dashboard now features a sleek, dark mode to ensure visual consistency across our platform.
  • Intuitive Usability: The dashboard is designed to be more intuitive, significantly reducing the learning curve for all users.
  • Optimized Performance: Expect smoother and quicker performance, designed to handle peak usage efficiently.
  • Seamless Integration: The dashboard integrates seamlessly with all existing Back4App functionalities, providing a cohesive experience.

For those of you who are familiar and comfortable with our previous dashboard, we understand the importance of a smooth transition. We are happy to inform you that the old version of the dashboard will remain accessible. You can easily switch between the new and old dashboard versions on a per-app basis in your app settings. Simply go to your app settings and change the option “Use the latest dashboard version” to “NO.” This will allow you to view your app using the old version of the dashboard whenever you prefer.

In addition to the dashboard, we are proud to introduce our new backend documentation platform. Thanks to all the feedback and suggestions from our users, we’ve tailored this platform with you in mind.
